Overview
Koch Finishing Systems is hiring an Electrical Engineer to design, program, and commission control panels for automated finishing equipment. Join a hands-on team delivering innovative solutions in manufacturing automation. Responsibilities • Design and develop electrical and control systems for automated equipment. • Program PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), HMIs, and other control devices. • Create and review schematics and layout drawings (UL508A compliance). • Develop specifications for electrical components and systems. • Test, debug, and troubleshoot control systems. • Support installation and commissioning at customer sites. • Produce documentation including manuals, diagrams, and drawings. Qualifications • Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. • Experience in controls engineering for manufacturing or automation. • Proficient with Allen-Bradley PLCs, RSLogix 500/5000, Rockwell programming. • Knowledge of C, C++, or Python for embedded controls. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. • UL508A certification required. • Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
