Job Title: Consultant – Executive Compensation About the Role: Join a high-impact team at one of the most respected executive compensation advisory firms in the U.S. As a mid-level consultant, you'll operate at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and governance—serving as both a project lead and trusted advisor to boards, management teams, and compensation committees. This isn’t just a technical role—it’s a client-facing, insight-driven position where you'll help shape compensation programs that influence how companies attract, motivate, and retain top talent. You’ll take ownership of engagements end-to-end, contribute to boardroom discussions, and collaborate with some of the most experienced minds in the industry. What You’ll Do: • Lead complex client engagements from scoping through final delivery • Develop strategic compensation solutions grounded in rigorous analysis • Advise clients on incentive design, governance standards, and disclosure best practices • Guide junior consultants through modeling, research, and presentation development • Build relationships with C-suite and board-level stakeholders • Bring forward proactive insights that go beyond the numbers • Stay ahead of market trends, regulations, and shareholder expectations • Contribute to firm thought leadership and internal knowledge-sharing Example Projects: • Designing CEO and executive incentive plans tied to performance and shareholder value • Evaluating pay competitiveness and alignment for public company leadership teams • Modeling equity dilution scenarios and preparing cost-effective grant strategies • Supporting clients through proxy season and CD&A development • Helping clients align compensation with ESG, DEI, and long-term value creation What You Bring: • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field • 3–5 years of experience in executive compensation or a similar advisory role • Strong analytical toolkit—fluent in Excel and comfortable with financial modeling • Clear, confident communication skills—written, verbal, and client-facing • Comfort managing multiple priorities with a high degree of autonomy • A sharp eye for detail, a strategic mindset, and a natural curiosity • Familiarity with financial statements, equity compensation, and proxy disclosure
