Overview
Job Summary: We are seeking a Tax Supervisor to oversee complex tax return preparation and review for corporate, partnership, trust, and high-net-worth individual clients. This role includes mentoring junior staff, managing client engagements, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for a variety of entity types. • Conduct tax research and provide planning recommendations to clients. • Supervise and mentor 2–4 tax staff/associates, including workload assignment and performance feedback. • Manage client relationships, billing, and engagement deadlines. • Assist with responses to tax notices and basic audit support. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree. • Bilingual (English & Spanish). • 5+ years of public accounting tax experience. • Proficiency with tax preparation software (CCH Axcess, UltraTax, or similar). • Strong technical knowledge and client communication skills.
